IPFW SMTP and DNS Proxies

I use a BSD/OS 4.3.1 system to implement a secure network enclave. The
systems in the enclave are supposed to use the BSD/OS 4.3.1 system as a
mail relay and for DNS name and address resolution.

For a special project, several of the systems in the enclave were changed
to the Japanese versions of Windows. Unfortunately, the configuration
panes are written in Katakana and are not exactly the same as the English
version of Windows.

Recently, the system began attempting to deliver mail directly to the
target system rather than relay through the BSD/OS 4.3.1 system. Does
anyone have or know of an SMTP proxy that would allow the BSD/OS 4.3.1
system to "fake" being the intended mail exchange system?
