DNS n LDAP

Why have them all be masters for the same zone? Why not one master and
the rest secondaries?

I am not aware of anyone using ldap and bind together but I suppose
its possible but definatly not ideal. You can ask around on
www.openldap.org for more info. There is a mailing list there.
