Mozilla Public License 2.0

All released versions of ISC-hosted software are signed with ISC’s OpenPGP public key and are available for free under either the ISC License (older versions) or the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (BIND 9.11.0b and greater, Kea 1.3 and greater, and DHCP 4.4.0 and greater).

Mozilla publishes a helpful FAQ about the MPL 2.0 license.

The MPL 2.0 license is approved by the Open Source Initiative.

BIND versions prior to BIND 9.11.0, all versions of ISC DHCP prior to ISC DHCP 4.4.0, and Kea versions prior to Kea 1.0.0 are released under the ISC License, whose text is shown below. The ISC License is registered with and approved by the Open Source Initiative.
