Retaining information between DHCP requests

It's been my experience DHCP will only DHCPOFFERto a DHCPDISCOVER from a pool that has allows if the class matches.

However, the DHCP will DHCPACK a DHCPREQUEST for any pool that does not explicitly deny.

What I don't know is if the subsequent requests are DHCPDISCOVERs or DHCPREQUESTs.
