Hi Vivek

Failover is much better on 3.0.5 compared to 3.0.1. So the upgrade is
worthwhile from that point of view.

However, the failover protocol was significantly enhanced between the
3.0.x and 3.1.x series to work much better and more efficiently. 3.1.1
was released a few weeks ago and would appear to be the preferred
release from 3.x series.
