No subject

newsgroup, this problem could be related to memory. As such I am
logging the ps output 4 times an hour to see is I can determine what
was happening just prior to the exit. Following is the ps output within
in 15 minutes, prior to the exit. The second line is the output
immediately after it restarts.

named died just before Tue May  9 00:00:00 PDT 2000

/usr/local/sbin/named -u root -g bin /etc/namedb/named.conf


Any suggestions as to what is causing the signal 10 exit and possible
solutions would be most appreciated. I have to add that I am relatively
new to this and as such may easily have missed something obvious in the
docs at www.isc.org and in Albitz & Liu's, O'Reilly book.
