bind 9.2 9.3 different behavior reverse DNS subnets

well more info would need to be done to be of any help.

what is the config file
what does debugging/messages say
what does dig +trace say
does the upstream owner of the /24 use the approriate RFC (whatever)
to route calls to your /27 etc?
