Check out Carnegie Mellon's Netreg, http://www.net.cmu.edu/netreg.  Its a 
complete DNS & DHCP management system, designed to allow privilege 
delegation to less-experienced admins without allowing them to break your 
zone files, etc.

Disclaimers:  I'm the current primary maintainer, so I'm biased, but I
think NetReg already meets a very large percentage of most needs in a Bind
management tool...  And you get DHCP management and IP Address Management
too.  I also provide installation, customization and support contracts.


Netreg's view support is a bit limited right now, it can restrict zones to 
specific views, but it can't currently publish separate data for a record 
in separate views.  (I have some ideas on how it could be extended to 
handle that, but none of the sites using it have made it a design 
requirement yet...)
