Hyper threading, Linux and Bind

I am putting in a new server with dual Xeon w/
hyperthreading cpu's w/ Linux as the OS.  When I start
bind it only recognizes 1 cpu.  So now I start bind
and I tell it how many cpu's but with hyperthreading
it looks like 4 cpu's. Should I specify 2 or 4 cpu's
when starting Bind?  I'm guessing 4 or should I turn
off Hyper-threading all together.
