To clarify my setup, my single MS W2k+3 DNS Server is being updated
dynamically by a single MS W2k/W2k+3 DHCP Server. The minor problems
I see don't seem to cause problems for the users. We did have to
change one DHCP parm in the process of getting this setup working.
The last time I looked, I did not see a non-draft IETF document
detailing the DNS interactions with a DHCP server, so I can not say
if the MS DHCP Server is violating any standards. Note that I am not
a DHCP expert; I have no experience in running a DHCP server, either
ISC or MS. All of the MS DHCP work is done here by the owner of the
DHCP Server.
