domain name entries in a zone

Your thinking is misguided.  The purpose of delegation is to indicate 
that someone else is in charge of everything related to a zone, and that 
includes the attributes of the zone name itself.  If the zone name 
happens to be used as a host name, that's for the zone administrator to 
configure.
