I set up a dns server on a Linux 9 box using the DNS Tool. When I add an
MX record it creats it in a weied way.
You cannot just add an mx record, you have to edit the properties of an
existing host to ad the mx record. Having used the dns tool, I can't add
the mx record by editing the zone file.

The dns tool makes it like this:

mail	IN	MX	10	mail.mydomain.com #mail being the
name of my mail host

instead of like this:

	IN	MX	10	mail.mydomain.com

Has anyone done this using the DNS tool? Do you have any suggestions?
Would the above render the mx record unusable?
