I have a dns server dns1.domain.com. I have about 500 domains on several registrars pointing to it. I need to change the IP on the box and move it. Shouldn't I be able to just change the A record for dns1.domain.com and have it work? I tried that and I've waited 2 days and it still shows the old IP at the root servers. Did I do it wrong? Thanks for any help.
