NEW DNS SERVER HELP PLEASE

I suspect you were improperly trying to exit from an interactive nslookup
session (try control-D instead of "quit"; nslookup will interpret the latter
as a lookup request).

What did nslookup say *before* that error message? What does it say if you
turn on debug?

Or, even better, if you have "dig" available to you, what does the dig output
look like?
