Once you enable dynamic updates on a zone, the zone file belongs to the
daemon, not to the administrator. You can do manual updates using
nsupdate, or whip up a little perl script using Net::DNS. The level of
paranoia and error checking that you should build in to such a script is
something you need to work out for yourself.
