Solaris 8 uses the script /etc/init.d/inetsvc to start and stop named - =
(it
is hard linked to the rc script in the rc.x directories) - if you =
loaded the
new named somewhere else (assumption) - you'll need to modify the lines =
in
inetsvc with the new path:
if [ -f /usr/local/sbin/named -a -f /etc/named.conf ]; then
/usr/local/sbin/named &

of Bind9.How can I invoke Bind9 at Startup?
