If the slaves have an NS in the zone, they should get the update within a
few minutes, otherwise when the soa expires.

Subject: How often with the slave get the new values from the ddns

I made a ddns update using nsupdate for a record.

How long will it take before the change is reflected on the
slave nameservers?

Is that determined by the SOA REFRESH? So it will be using
the outdated information until it gets the update?

Thanks for clearing this up for me.
