Differences between 8.x and 9.x

Actually, it *is* a common question.  So common that it has already been 
addressed in the documentation.  Reading the "misc/migration" and 
"misc/options" files in the BIND v9.1.x doc should provide most (all?) of the 
information you're looking for.
