Unfortunately, ftp.nominum.com is also down. There is a list of
mirror sites at <http://www.isc.org/ISC/MIRRORS.html>, but
unfortunately unless they mirror all ISC content, they're likely to
do something like mirror the BIND 4 & BIND 8 stuff, but not the BIND
9 stuff (which is in a different directory hierarchy). For the US
mirrors, I found that ftp.epix.net had BIND 8 and not BIND 9, and
that meeko.EECS.Berkeley.EDU appeared to either be down or not exist
at all.

I ended up pulling stuff from ftp.ripe.net, which worked well
even though the site I was pulling down from was in the US, and the
server is in the Netherlands.

See the mirror list. Unfortunately, none of the official US
mirrors seem to be up or have the BIND 9 stuff, so you may have to
look outside the US to find what you're looking for.
