rndc how-to?

Hi folks, newbie here in respect to BIND 9.

I installed Bind 9, and for the life of me can't seem to get rndc to 
work (has to do with generating the key's and such).

Is there a how-to or something kicking around that would provide a 
step-by-step as apposed to the man pages?

Thanks for any pointers on this... BTW, are there any books out yet on BIND 9?
