FIRST upgrade to a version with out known security vulnerabilities. See
http://www.isc.org/products/BIND/bind-security.html.

Scroll down toward the bottom of the page and look at the status of
8.2.2-P7. When you upgrade consider the advise on the cio.gov Best
Practice site for securing DNS or better still see
http://www.securityportal.com/articles/bind9_20010430.html

SECOND operate on the assumption that you have been hacked. Deal with
it. See
http://www.cert.org./tech_tips/intruder_detection_checklist.html and
http://www.cert.org./tech_tips/win-UNIX-system_compromise.html

THIRD add some memory to your system.
