Slave not loading

I am running BIND822 on HP/UX 11.0...I have setup a master DNS server and am
working on the slave...I have copied over the cache, 127.0.0, and named.conf
files. I made the necessary changes to the named.conf file and started named
on the slave. Nothing happens...I thought the slave would query the master
and pull down the db files...what am I missing...thanks in advance...Jerry
