How to get verbose logging ?

Is this is a secutity of operation concerned ?  This servers runs behind
a firewall and serves only few secondaries.

I will look forward for it. I hope it will come out of the box with verbose
logging. Having to learn all these channel and logging stuff was an
unpleasent
experience.

What about going back to the the latest 8.x (assuming that redhat 7.1
supports it),
any problem with that ?
