How to run two name servers on single machine

Why don't you just have:

ns.sol.net.in, which is master for sol.net.in and slave for southernonline.net

and

ns.southernonline.net, which is master for southernonline.net and slave for
sol.net.in

?

That way, both domains will be available even if one of the nameservers fails.
