bind-9 and static

The README says:

"	Several environment variables that can be set before running
	configure will affect compilation:

	    CFLAGS
		C compiler flags.  Defaults to include -g and/or -O2
		as supported by the compiler."

So, set CFLAGS in your environent to include -static before you run
configure, and you should be set.
