Mysterious messages

On my internal primary BIND server, I'm getting these messages:

'named [407]: error processing update packet (YXRRSET) id 28073 from [ip 
address of secondary DNS].56307'

The numbers 28073 and 56307 change with each message.

I also get some identical messages only the (YXRRSET) is replaced with 
(REFUSED).

I already know I have the update settings right, because it does get the 
AXFR zone transfers.

Any ideas on where I should start?
