No Address (A) records availabe error

Hi, everyone:
I tried to setup both domain  on one machine. Now i got strange error.
I set up seperate zone file for each domain. And in nslookup,i got the
following error(dns2.com.sg is the new domain i added, dns1.com.sg is the 
original one which is working fine)
nslookup>dns2.com.sg
Server: host.dns1.com.sg
Address: 200.0.24.1
*** No address (A) records available for iba.com.sg

How ever, if i use www.dns2.com.sg, this address can be resovled correctly, 
any machine name followed by new domain name can be resovled.
>www.dns2.com.sg
Server:  host.dns1.com.sg
Address:  200.0.24.1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    host1.dns2.com.sg
Address:  200.0.24.2
Aliases:  www.dns2.com.sg

Any idea about these kind of error?
