DNS and Apache - emergengy question !

Thank you to everybody who answered me. Indeed there were some other copies
of httpd I was not able to find. I trusted probably to much
 apachectl which told me each time I tried to restart the server (or to
stop) that there were no httpd process running.
I'm sorring for bothering you with such a trivial question !
