as I know, 'enableDNS=0' is only disabing 'Netbios query use
DNS', not TCP/IP internet browsing/surfing.  can you not surf
internet after disabling it ???
try to run 'winipcfg' to check a option 'Netbios use DNS' , if
'enableDNS'=1, then you can see a mark before 'netbios use
DNS'.:)

Well, it eliminated the DNS queries.  By turning DNS off on the
Win95
system DNS queries were no longer made.  But, I need DNS on the
system for
internet purposes.
