Dynameic DNS on 8.2.2-P% not saving changes

Have you checked your syslog for messages like

named[462]: can't open /var/named/testing.com.zone.log: Permission denied

Redhat by default runs named as user named, not as root. Therefore you'll
have to adjust the permissions on /var/named.
