routing query

Hello,

A general query on routing.

I am currently allocated one static IP address from an ISP.

Can I register for public IP address's and 
use these with the existing connection IP supplied (ISP)

In other words have a seperate network with different ip address's
but using the existing isp supplied IP(cisco router) and still
be able to route traffic to new network.

Can this be done by including router IP(ISP) in my dns server.

The crux is how does the traffic know where to come.


Any help appreciated
