if named.ca used, login waits for long time

Interesting. What is the ip address of this machine?
When the server starts, it will try contacting the machine in named.ca.
Is it reachable?

This doesn't look like a named.conf file, it looks like a named.boot
file.
Are you running BIND 4? If so, do not call the file named.conf, it
confuses people.
