i have a really weird problem

i run a nameserver ns.explainer.nl (193.172.72.200)
and when i try to lookup some ip's :

[root at ddx /root]# ndc restart
new pid is 8230
[root at ddx /root]# nslookup 193.172.72.1
Server: localhost
Address: 127.0.0.1

*** No address (A) records available for 193.172.72.1

[root at ddx /root]# nslookup 193.172.72.220
Server: localhost
Address: 127.0.0.1

Name: mail.explainerdc.com
Address: 193.172.72.220

so cache should be clean and it can reach ns.explainer.nl (otherwise it
should not resolve 193.172.72.220)

i also tried some other nameservers i know, and they give the same
errors.

weird thing is, when i use the nameserver itself

[root at ddx /root]# nslookup 193.172.72.1 ns.explainer.nl
Server: ns.explainer.nl
Address: 193.172.72.200

Name: cisco.exp-unisrc.explainer.nl
Address: 193.172.72.1

could som1 tell me what i could have done wrong (it worked for a long...)
i tried to reinstall bind (patch level 3 and patchlevel 5 tried)
other domains and reverse zone's lookup ok, so i don't think i have
overseen something (also no warnings in log (/var/log/messages))
