Subject: How do you control what NIC the resolver uses?

Hello,

I am setting up a certain system configuration and i need
to control what ethernet card the resolver uses.

Default installation is no good as it can be any NIC.
Fine grained control a must.

System is linux.

Firstly can this be done?

Do I need to install resolver source files then compile with
certain parameters?

I am not sure if resolver is part of Bind (i don't think it is).

All help appreciatted

Kevin
