can't get a srvr to return 'aa'

ns:  ns1.atanet.net  (BIND4/NT)

I've check the zone syntax 10 times, but I stil can't get ns1 to answer 
authoritatively. I can always fix these pb's on BIND8 but this one just has 
me stumped.
