You have a HOSTS file for DNS and LMHOSTS file for WINS. These are usually files that can be updated by the administrator. Is the HOSTS file updated when doing a dynamic DNS update? Or is this info kept in a seperate table kept by the DNS server now that it can change things on the fly?
