And have you ever seen me come off with that attitude?  Well, often,
anyway?

Go read the FAQs.  I didn't write them.  I may have contributed to them
decades ago, but I don't even remember now.

The point was that there are lots of newsgroups, and over time each
develops its own personality.  Over a SMALL amount of time, this is not
necessarily reflected in the postings.  It is a SUGGESTION, not a LAW.
It is to HELP YOU, not to punish you.

My, people are getting defensive and testy and so forth.
