hi,
well,i did some research on deja.com and other web-resources (as well
the "bind-book") but found nothing apropriate:
the problem is occuring on rev/PTR queries:
i did a dns setup serving a subnet from 10.2.16.1 to 10.2.31.254,
everything worked fine except reverse lookup for other than 10.2.16.*
i thought doing a rev zone as "b-classed" e.g. 2.10.in-addr* and adding
the missing information in db.rev.domain ,eg. "2.2 A test.domain.net "
might work but it isnt.
is there a way to avoid setting up zones for every
10.2.16,10.2.17...10.2.31 ??
any suggestions ?
btw: bind is the one shipped with solaris 7,i guess 8.0.* ,whatever ..
