Logs not rotating?

As was pointed out by Erik Freitag, as of 8.2.2TB3 the autorotate feature
was disabled:

--- 8.2.2-T2B released ---
...
762. [support] don't rotate log file versions on server startup.
...

Does anyone know of a workaround? This was a very useful feature.

Thanks,
Dave LaPorte
