Logs not rotating?

Last Friday I upgraded our name server to 8.2.2P3-patch4 (from 8.2).  After
the upgrade, the versioning on our logging channel stops functioning.  The
rotation was for a restart done immediately before the upgrade.  The
named.conf has been unchanged.  Any thoughts?  Below is the logging section
of the named.conf:
