[NEWBIE] Running DNS server off cablemodem

Hmm, that's interesting.  

Here in suburban Indianapolis, IN I've had the same IP address for
over 2 months (since the service was installed).  The @Home config
uses DHCP to get an address, but it always returns the same one.
