Yes, although the minimum would go in a $TTL directive these days, and you'd
use something smaller for minimum (which is used for negative caching), like
7200 (2hrs).

But to quote, "These recommendations are aimed at small and stable DNS
zones."  Not everybody here is managing small and stable DNS zones, not to
mention folks trying to use DHCP servers and dynamic updates.
