Named dies

Dear X,

Got a problem with named running on SCO 505.
Occasionally, ( every few weeks or so ) the name daemon dies.  This causes
problems like mail not being delivered etc.

Does anyone know why this may be happening ?

I have had a situation before where the named sometimes did not load on
boot - but I could not find the depending factor - I know theese things
arn't random - but it sure seems like it!
