I assume you want to do something that the built in ddns doesn't handle ?

Use reserved leases ?

A reserved lease behaves exactly like a standard lease (ie it goes 
through the same lifecycle) except that the address will never be 
re-assigned to another client. I believe the only way to set it is to 
manually edit the leases file to add the reserved statement.
