This is a known bug.  It's basically a problem in the DLPI sources,
when the server tries to transmit a raw DHCPv4 packet, it poisons the
well so it can't receive packets anymore.  We have a patch comitted
and a beta release will be out shortly*.

  (actually, an equipment failure has stuck it 99.9% through the
   release process, and it will be corrected shortly)
  (4.0.2b1 is next)
