Dhcpd stops responding but process shows running

Hello all,

 

I have a 4.1 DHCP server running on Solaris and lately every 2 minutes to 20
minutes it will stop responding, however the process stays running.  If I
pkill dhcpd and restart dhcpd it will resume for a variable length of time.
Nothing is showing in logs, running tail on dhcp log and it will stop at a a
random DHCPACK or DISCOVER , no pattern, will just stop.  Tried downgrading
to 4.0, but problem persists, any help would be immensely appreciated.
