output configuration in use?

Any method to get rndc / named to write the configuration in use which
would include the "defaultconf" (from ./bin/named/config.c)?

Also why does "defaultconf" in ./bin/named/config.c have several items
commented out with # (hash mark)? Why include them in the "defaultconf" if
not used in the first place? (This is what got me thinking about
outputting the configuration in use as then the commented out items
could be useful for a starting point with writing a new named.conf.)
