BIND 9.2.1 MINTTL Problem (and Solution)

I have a number of problems with BIND 9.2.1 in test; the production
BIND is 8.2.5-REL. Here is one of them.
I am seeing messages on the slave server like this:
Jul 3 07:17:32 titania.ctd.anl.gov named[5037]: named.ldi:6:
no TTL specified; using SOA MINTTL instead
I am seeing these for some, but not all of the slave zones. I do not
see this message produced on the BIND 9.2.1 master (nor on 8.2.5-REL
I had running on the master). What concerns me is that these messages
are for slave zones. The only master zone I have on this server is
the standard 0.0.127.in-addr.arpa.
I could not find this message in the source; in what module is it?
As I was writing this message, I found the problem. As I mentioned
this problem yesterday in another posting, I thought that I should
give the resolution. These messages are being produced for 30 zones
that are so old that they have not been transferred since I added $TTL
statements on the master "ages" ago, when it was first required. At
that time, I did not change any serial numbers, so these old zones --
without the TTL specified in each record -- still exist on the slave
server. BIND 8 did not complain about the "missing" $TTL.
I will update the serial on these 30 zones to correct this problem.
