If you must run BIND 8.2.x, why not 8.2.5?

Do you have a firewall that only allows port 53 in to your server?  BIND 8
doesn't use 53 as the source port for recursive queries, so you have to
allow all high-numbered ports in or use the "query-source" option
named.conf to force it to use a specific source port.
