upgrade from bind 8 to bind 9

I have version 8.2.2-P5 on solaris. I want upgrade to vind 9.

However, I found the current version is bind 9.1.3 and release candidate is
9.2.0rc6.

We need upgrade before end of year for all our dns servers. which version
will be 
better to use? Can I think the stable version 9.2.0 will be released soon? 

Any comments will be appreciated
